    7/10/2024- The produce truck delivers tomorrow, so I was out of luck for eggplant.. Also wanted their Kimchee but the new kitchen is not finished.. When they do finish building the kitchen the fresh food will be sold.. Opted for a bottled Kimchee, and the staff said it was good.. Also picked up a lotus root and kabocha....

    I love Yims so much. Their kimchi is so amazing we get the big tub of it! We also like to get the Korean bbq meats. They have a great variety of foods and snacks all in one place.

    Yim's is so great for ingredients you can't find many other places in Reno! For me, it's daikon and options for cod roe (to make mentaiko sauce). They have really great prices on produce. The staff is always busy but friendly and welcoming. They can help you find exactly what you need. Ambiance is always Work In Progress, it seems, but it's never hard to navigate and find what you need still. Their frozen section is worth browsing if you're wanting to try something new. They always have a great selection of kimchi, as well. We always look forward to our next visit to discover something new!
